Aalberto V. Pena March 4, 1925 - February 26, 2013 Adalberto "Albert" Pea, 87 years, a resident of Philadelphia, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1925, was raised in Mission and Pharr, Texas and was the son of the late Manuel G. & Juanita (Vallareal) Pea. He was a Baker for 35 years that worked at Omar Bakery and retired from Colonial Baking Company in 1986. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the Pacific Theatre. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Corp. He was a member of Warren Baptist Church of Indianapolis, loved carpentry work, gardening, word search puzzles, feeding and watching birds. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Haley) Pea of Greenfield, whom he married on March 28, 1960, sons, Eddie Pea of Beech Grove, Stephen Pea of McCordsville, Timothy Pea of South Haven, Miss., Anthony Pea of Noblesville, daughter, Mary Todd of Martinsville, sister, Dalia Jackson of Greenfield, 18 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, brother, Lupe Pea and a sister, Angelita Pea. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard.
