Alda Ruth Hurd January 8, 1943 - April 6, 2007 Alda Ruth Hurd, 64, of Greenfield passed away Friday April 6, 2007 at Regency Place of Greeenfield. She was born January 8, 1943 in Rockingham, VA to the late Edgar Norman and Geneva Alice (Wimer) Wenger. She was a custodian for the Greenfield School System and a member of Harvest Ministries. She is survived by sons, Dewayne Hurd, Paul Smith Jr. both of Greenfield; daughters, Teresa Miller of Staunton, VA , Ellen Witmer of Daulton, OH; brother, Nolan Wenger of Philadelphia, PA; and 9 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband, Clarence Hurd, Jr. in October 2002. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2007 at Park Cemetery with Rev. Larry Hurd officiating.
