Alga Lois Ivey

Alga Lois Ivey, age 79, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born August 13, 1941 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Floyd W. and Auda (Singleton) Whitaker. Lois was a graduate of Cordia High School. She married Delbert Ivey on June 11, 1960. Prior to her retirement, Alga was a nurse at Hancock Regional Hospital. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah L Woodruff and Brenda L. Hensley; brothers, R.D. Whitaker, Floyd W. Whitaker, Jr., Boyd R. Whitaker; sisters, Nella Young, Ella Robinson, Chloteen Vaugh, Betty Sue Caudill and Bonnie Lou Thompson; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Lois is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert in 2006; son, Gilbert W. Ivey; brother, J.B. Whitaker; and sisters, Lola Caudill and Kathaleen Whitaker. Service will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Philadelphia Church Cemetery. Masks are required and social distancing standards will be adhered to. We are limited to 50 visitors at one time.
