Alice Mae Moncrief

Alice Mae Moncrief February 18, 1930 - November 19, 2012 Alice Mae Moncrief age 82 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice, Greenfield. She was born February 18, 1930 in Indianapolis, Ind. to the late Benjamin and Mary (Gappen) Elliott. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper for Marsh Supermarkets and a bookkeeper for the Indiana Dept. of Labor. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School, a member of the Greenfield Christian Church and member of the Eastern Star earlier in her life. She is survived by her daughters, Debbi (Mike) Barnhart, Dee (Mike) John, son, Mike (Pam) Moncrief, all of Greenfield, six grandchildren, Amy (Nathan) Cash, Michelle (Darrin) Thomas, Shawna (Shawn) Thayer, Jeff (Tiffany) Moncrief, Jeremy (Sarah) John, Carrie Holliday and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moncrief in 2001. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Mendon Cemetery in Madison County. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
