Alice H Scott

Alice H. Scott November 16, 1909 - May 12, 2008 Alice H. Scott, 98, formerly of Greenfield passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at Mason Healthcare in Warsaw, IN. She was born November 16, 1909 to the late John Ora and Hesther (Waddell) Henderson. Mrs. Scott graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, Ca and attended Central Business College in Marion, IN. She worked for Eli Lilly and a local Hancock County physician before working for local attorney William Wolf as legal secretary and office manager. She was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church, Air Raid Corp of Marion County, Indiana, past president of Kappa Delta Phi, Past President of Bookmark, the American Legion Auxiliary and Greenfield Country Club. She was preceded in death by her husband George Ora Scott, the parents that raised her Mr. and Mrs. Clarence A. Waddell with their daughter Dortha (Dot) Hyatt, brother; George A. Henderson and sister; Marie Henderson-Rairdon. Graveside services will be Friday, May 16th at 2:00 P.M. at Park Cemetery in Greenfield with Pastor David Woods officiating.
