Allen D. Story

Allen David Story, 61 of Greenfield, IN passed away on June 28, 2022 at his residence. He was born to the late Bobbi Thompson on May 15, 1961 in Richmond, IN. He married his loving wife, Susan (Akers) Story on July 28, 2002. He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. Al's love of music led to a career spanning more than thirty years at Mid-America Sound. He was well known and deeply respected in the live music industry as one of the area's most knowledgeable lighting technicians. Al loved his beloved pets, dogs Gizmo and Shelby; his cat, Skyler. Allen is survived by his wife of 20 years, Susan; his son, Zakk (Kristen) Story; his grandson Zayler: his brother, Jay (Carol) Thompson; along with many cousins, aunts, uncles and his Mid-America Sound family. He was preceded in death by his mother Bobbi. Al will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of life will be held on July 10 at 11am- 1PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home. Stillinger Family Funeral Home is honored to care for the Story Family.
