Alma L Merriman

Alma L. Merriman May 19, 1944 - December 19, 2013 Alma L. Merriman, 69 of Greenfield passed away peacefully on December 19, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born May 19, 1944 in Beauville, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee and Eupha (Capps) Dawson. Alma married Joseph Merriman on March 19, 1961. She was a self-employed residential cleaner for over twenty years. Alma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenfield, a member of the Women of Moose, Greenfield and she loved to fish. Alma is survived by her husband; Rev. Joseph Merriman of Greenfield, sons; Joseph (Barb) Merriman Jr. of Greenfield and Larry E. (Adonna) Merriman of Shelbyville, brother; Johnnie (Sandy) Dawson of Indianapolis, 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call Friday, December 27, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Eric Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
