Alton Lee Roy Johnson Sr December 14, 1928 - June 4, 2014 Alton Lee Roy Johnson Sr., age 85, passed away Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospice. Alton was born December 14, 1928 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Ronald and Ethyl (Yant) Johnson. Alton married Phyllis (Campbell) Johnson on July 1, 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1993 from Delco Remy after 43 years of service. Alton enjoyed gardening, airshows, photography, and CB radio. Alton is survived by his wife Phyllis of Greenfield, children; Alton (Debra) Johnson Jr. of Indianapolis, Janet Cline, Anita Johnson all of Greenfield, sister; Janice (Don) Mongold of Crawfordsville; and grandchildren, Joshua Cline, Matthew Cline, Timothy (Kim) Cline, and Luke Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Donna J Johnson; and brothers, Walter Johnson and Darrol Johnson. A public visitation for Alton will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel 1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services begin at 1 PM with Mike Hopper officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Altons honor to the Faith United Methodist Church, 328 N Swope St, Greenfield, IN 46140.
