Annie Muriel Walters September 19, 1934 - August 30, 2008 Annie Muriel Walters, 73, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital, Beech Grove. She was born September 19, 1934 in Powersburg, Kentucky to the late Marty and Sarah (Hicks) Shelton. Annie was a homemaker, faithfully attended Brandywine Community Church and was a member of the Greenfield Senior Citizens. She is survived by son, Eugene (Patty) Walters of Greenfield; daughter, Kathy (Greg) Meadors Orlopp of Greenwood; sister, Gladys Moore of Harlan, KY; brothers, Delmer Shelton of Frankfort, IN and Billy Shelton of Evansville; grandson, Wesley Otto Heffelmire. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Walters; brothers, Woodrow, Kenneth, and Percy Shelton; sister, Georgia Miniard. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis. Friends may call Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
