Arthur Paul Art Dougherty

Arthur Art P. Dougherty, 54, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis. Art was born to the late Margaret (Archibald) and Arthur B. Dougherty on June 6, 1960 in Greenfield. He attended Greenfield schools before going on to earn his Bachelors in Sociology from Franklin College. He was attending Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis before his health began to deteriorate. He was a licensed hypnotist and a Doctor of Naturopathy. He attended Glendale Christian Church in Indianapolis, and was a member of Kappa Delta Rho at FC. He was also a DeMolay. He worked in sales at Big Lots for eight years. Art is survived by his brother, Michael (Rev. Christina) Dougherty; uncle George (Wendy) Dougherty; and his cousins, Brenda and Melinda Hayes Art is preceded in death by his parents. A public visitation for Art will be on Thursday February 19th, 2015 from 3 to 7 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral services will follow at 7pm.
