Ashley A. Hardey

"If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart and I'll stay there forever."

On February 17, 2023 at 3:21 p.m., Ashley Ann (Drake) Hardey passed peacefully surrounded by her children and family. She lived a beautiful and loved 46 years.

Ashley's greatest love was her family and her children are so incredibly proud to call her Mom.

Ashley was born November 8, 1976 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She grew up in New Palestine, Indiana. Following high school, she was a loyal caregiver for the majority of her life. She was passionate about plants and gardening (especially peonies) and loved to cook for her family. There won't be a day where she won't be missed, but we will see you when the road decides it's time for our paths to cross again.

Ashley is survived by her three children; Hannah, Lillian, and Jake Hardey; her Mother, Brenda Sue Drake, her grandson, Jaxin Perry and her two sisters, Angel Vanslyke and Amy Newcomb.

She was preceded in death by her sister Alison Drake.

Services for Ashley will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 5PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Hendryx Cumberland Chapel 11636 E. Washington St. Indpls, IN 46229. Friends may visit from 3PM-5PM.
