Barbara Jean Colestock April 8, 1929 - May 25, 2011
Barbara Jean Colestock, 82, a resident of Traverse City, Michigan, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Traverse City.
She was born April 8, 1929 in Madison County, Indiana to the late Lowell E. and Glyda (Spall) Wilson.
Barbara worked as a clerk for the state office of Indiana for twelve years and was a member of the Greenfield Friends church and most recently Park Chapel Christian Church.
She is survived by four children; Kenneth (wife, Cheryl) Colestock of Evans, Georgia; Rick (wife, Diane) Colestock of Toledo, Ohio; Ellen (husband, John) Talesky of Newnan, Georgia; Vicki (husband, Peter) Norris of Traverse City, Michigan; three brothers, Leon (wife, Annabelle) Wilson of Greenfield; Jay (wife, Jesse) Wilson of Carthage; Richard "Dick" (wife, Verlyn) Wilson of Wilkinson; 23 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Colestock; sister, Bertha Mae Jackson; brothers, Benny C., Lawrence and Robert Wilson.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Friends may call Friday, May 27, 2011 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
