Barbara Hancock

Barbara J. Hancock, 86, a resident of Greenfield passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday morning July 5, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born May 22, 1929 in Bellflower, Ill. To the late Horace & Minnie (Duncan) Windmiller. Barbara attended Rochester High School, was a homemaker, a former seamstress and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughter, Darla J. (Kevin) Carter of New Palestine and grandson Mark Carter also of New Palestine. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George N. Hancock, brothers, Lawrence Windmiller, Robert Windmiller and sister, Frances Hayes. Friends may call 2-3 pm, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, 200 West McKenzie Road, Greenfield. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3pm with Pastor Dan OConnor officiating. A private family burial will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rochester, Indiana. Memorial contributions in honor of Barbara may be made to Faith Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.
