Barbara Harmon

Barbara J. Frost Harmon age 65, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away December 2, 2018 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born January 8, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late J. Harold and Violet (Scott) Frost. Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry L. Harmon; sons, Brian (Tammy) Harmon and Mark Harmon; grandsons, Alex and Jake Harmon; brother, Keneth Frost; sister, Marilyn K. Burks Lord, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding Her in death is her parents listed above and four siblings, Joyce Frost, Emilie Field, John Frost and Richard Frost. Barbara always worked first as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed as an executive assistant in downtown Indianapolis for a secondary loan market corporation, and for a major retail development company. Traveling, entertaining and cooking were some of her pleasures, and family and friends enjoyed her many special dishes. Toward the end of her life, Barbara came to love the many people of Hancock regional Hospice and gives a heartfelt thank you to them. Many tears were shed during her final stay there. Special thanks to Pastor Robert Miller for all his guidance, support and love. A Celebration of Life will be held December 15, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main ST in Greenfield, Indiana. Friends may gather and share memories from 10:00 am until noon. A celebration service will begin at noon at the funeral home. Barbara has requested no flowers be sent.
