Barbara A. Lavallee

Barbara A. LaVallee, age 83 of Greenfield passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. She was born on November 15, 1933 in Anderson to the late Lloyd & Delores (Harless) Lay. Barbara spent most of her career working at Nichols Bakery until her retirement in 2001. She married the love of her life Charles LaVallee on April 10, 1955. Barbara was known to many as a hard worker. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield. Barbara enjoyed wood working, refinishing, sewing, crocheting, making professional teddy bears and stained glass pictures. Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles LaVallee of Greenfield; daughter, Annette (Gary) Mosbaugh of Crawfordsville; sister, Phyllis (Melvin) Shaul of Anderson; half-sister, Terrie (Mike) Nickolson of Wilkinson; grandson, Jeremy (Andrea) Mosbaugh of Zionsville; granddaughter, Kim (Britt) Wiseman of Remington, IN, and great-grandson, Walter Mosbaugh. Preceding Barbara in death are her parents listed above. Visitation for Barbara will be held for 10:00am to 12:00pm on Tuesday April 4, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, 200 W. McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church at 12:00pm with Pastor Daniel OConnor officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Memorial contributions in memory of Barbara may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 6919 E. 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46219 Services have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield.
