Barbara J. Soots August 9, 1937 - December 30, 2010 Barbara Soots, 73, a resident of New Palestine passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Sugar Creek Convalescent & Nursing Center. She was born August 9, 1937 in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Anna Virginia (Summers) Bowley. Barbara attended school at Little Flower Catholic Church, she was a beauty operator and retired from Coiffurs by Max. She attended St. Simon Catholic Church and loved camping and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Soots; son, Mark Edward (Audrey) Soots, Manhattan, KS; daughters, Beckie (Jeffery) Emery, Indianapolis, Sandy (Robin) Milton, Albany, Lorianne Groves, New Palestine; sister, Shirley Worland, Indianapolis; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
