Beatrice L. Montgomery September 16, 1944 - December 12, 2009 Beatrice L. Montgomery, age 65 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away December 12, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. Born September 16, 1944 in Lebanon, Indiana to the late Forest and Lelia (Wilkerson) Byroad. She retired in 1996 from Navel Air and Warfare Center in Indianapolis. She attended Park Chapel Church in Greenfield and is a member of the Indiana Friend of Bluegrass; Riley Wranglers Square Dancing; Indy 500 Motorcycle Club; Brandywine Cruisers Car Club; had a booth every year at Riley Days and enjoyed camping and crafting. Surviving include her son, Jerry (Karen) Benson-Montgomery of Brighton, CO; a sister, Marcia (Jim) Hale of New Palestine; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Montgomery, two sisters, Helen Chaney and Barbara Berry. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
