Beatrice L Sandefur

Beatrice L. (Jones) Sandefur, age 83 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on June 16, 1933 in Lewisburg, WV to the late George and Lucy Jane (Blake) Jones. Beatrice married the love of her life Marlin Sandefur on August 19, 1960 and would spend her life as a devoted mother, housewife, and grandma. She also worked at Naval Avionics until her retirement in 1992. She loved to volunteer her time at the senior center. Beatrice was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, and spending time with her precious grandkids. Surviving Beatrice is her son, Pat (Ann) Sandefur of Lake Jackson, TX; daughters, Jane "Carol" Moody of Lake Jackson, TX; Terry "Teresa" (Ty) Sandefur-Hite of Greenfield; and grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, Tony, Aaron, Noah, Jonah, Jase, and Jenna. She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Marlin Sandefur; daughter, Robin Sandefur-Potter; granddaughter, Jenni; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, IN.
