Bertha E. Skelton July 17, 1922 - June 19, 2013 Bertha E. Skelton, 90 of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on July 17, 1922 in Bald Knob, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John and Nora Anderson. Bertha loved to cook and watch people enjoy eating what she made, working in the garden and with her house plants. She attended Brother Grays Pentecostal Church in Cumberland until her health got bad. Bertha loved her grandchildren and she was always there to help anyone who was in need. Bertha is survived by her daughter Vera Skelton of Indianapolis, six grandchildren, Phil, Jerry, Tracy Cobb, Melanie Cobb-Steagall, Steve Skelton, Tammy Yager, eight great- grandchildren, brother, Bruce Anderson and a sister, Dorothy Mooney. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Manford Ray "Tom" Skelton, two sons, Doyle Ray , Jerry Lee Skelton, three brothers Aaron, Elijah, Kenneth Anderson, four half-brothers and one half-sister. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday June 24, 2013 at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday June 24, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
