Bethel Elizabeth Beth York

Bethel Elizabeth "Beth" York, age 90 of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born August 16, 1925 in Pickett County, Tennessee to the late John and Bonnie (Woods) Sharp. Beth was always the life of the party. She loved to dance, was an accomplished banjo player and seamstress. Prior to her retirement in 1988 she enjoyed a 30-year career at Larue-Carter Hospital. She is survived by her children; Jim (Faye) York of Greenfield, John (Betty) York of Indianapolis, Ronnie (Glenda) York of Greenwood, sisters; Evelyn Conaster, Opal Wright, Francis Lawson, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services are pending at Mundy Funeral Home, Jamestown, Tennessee. Local arrangements entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield.
