Betty J. Andis

Betty J. Andis, age 86, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her home. She was born in Greenfield, Indiana on April 17th, 1935, to the late Paul and Beatrice (Anderson) Pryor. Betty married Jacob L. Andis November 10, 1951, on the first day of rabbit season. Together they made their home in Greenfield, raised their family, and enjoyed 70 years of marriage. Betty was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was always her priority. She is survived by her husband, Jacob; children, Diana Massie, Patricia (Terry) Smith, Jenny Brewer, Doyle (Tammy) Andis, and David (Aubrey Keel) Andis; sister, Mary Jane Covey; and several grandchildren; great grands and great great grands. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; daughters, Susan Slifer and Theresa Andis; sister, Peggy Cain; brothers; Charles and George Vest, Lee, Bobby, and Ted Pryor; and son-in-law, Jeffrey Brewer. Funeral service will be 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
