Betty Joe Butcher

Betty Joe Butcher November 20, 1932 - December 25, 2010 Betty Joe Butcher, 78, a resident of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Community Hospital North. She was born November 20, 1932 in Bloomington to the late Joseph William and Thelma (Foxy) Reed. Betty was a homemaker and housewife throughout her life; she enjoyed her family and friends most. Betty was a skip-bow champion and became a special Christmas angel at the time of her death. She is survived by daughters, Terri (Benjamin) Cazares, Deborah (Gary) Ross; son, Roy Butcher, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Shannon, Kristen; great grandchildren, Emme, Avery, Benjamin and William. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Butcher and brother, Richard Reed. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, Indiana.
