Betty Downey September 24, 1956 - March 1, 2010 Betty Downey, 53, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at her home. She was born September 24, 1956 in Bossier City, Louisiana and was the daughter of the late Charles Downey and Ruth (Berry) Montgomery. Betty was a member of the Bradley United Methodist Church, Greenfield and was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters, Misty and Brandy of TN; sisters, Polly Simmons of Greenfield, Peggy Simmons of GA, Kathleen Downey of FL; brother, Gary Downey of NV; grandson, Dakota; granddaughter's, Sierra and Sophie; best friend, Dana Schall of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Bradley United Methodist Church from 2:00 until 3:30 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3:30.
