Betty L. Howell

Betty L. Howell, age 91 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on April 29, 1925 in Greenfield to the late William Meisel and Opal L. (Addison) Williams. Betty married the love of her life James L. Howell on September 13, 1958. Betty retired from owning & operating B.H.W. Sales and Service with her husband James. She also attended the Fortville Christian Church. Betty is survived by her step-children; James P. Howell of Mundlein IL, Dennis L. Howell of Muncie, Pamela Gwinnup of Greenfield, Jane Eaks of Greenfield, John S. Howell of Antioch IL, David W. Howell of Greenfield, Kevin Howell of Fortville, sister; Edith Vance of Greenwood, 27 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; James L. Howell, sister; Ruth Parry, daughter-in-law; Mary Ellen Howell, and son-in-law; David L. Eaks. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Friday September 30, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm at the funeral home with burial immediately following the service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
