Betty Louise Kardokus

Betty Louise Kardokus, 92, Greenfield, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 23, 2020. Betty was born on October 24, 1928 in New Albany, IN, to Arthur and Myrtle (Bruner) Randall. She graduated from New Albany High School. Following high school, Betty went on to earn her degree in the healthcare field as a License Practical Nurse. There, she served others when they needed care the most. She retired in 1985. Besides her love of nursing, Betty loved her Lord and Savior and could always be found attending church and reading her bible. Additionally, she loved BINGO and watching soap operas. She married Clarence W. Kardokus on October 13, 1966 in Pleasant View, IN. Betty leaves behind her only daughter, Christina Nicholas, husband Anthony; only granddaughter, Jessica Hartwell, husband William; 4 great-granddaughters: Abigail, Haven, Willow, and Kinley; as well as 3 nephews: Chuck Wells, wife Joyce, John Wells, wife Beth, and Michael Wells, significant other Myra Clements. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Norma Wells; and husband of 30 years, Clarence Kardokus. Per the family's wishes, all matters will be private for them.
