Betty M. Patterson September 7, 1923 - October 14, 2009 Betty May Patterson, 86, passed away October 14, 2009 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born September 7, 1923, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hugo and Vera (Cly) Doberstine. Betty worked for Hancock County Credit Bureau. She was a longtime member of the Bradley United Methodist Church of Greenfield. Betty graduated from Arsenal Technical High School where she was a straight A student in 1941. Betty was the loving wife of 67 years to Russell O Patterson of Greenfield; her surviving two children are Eugene (Phyllis) Patterson of Greenfield and Lavon (Wesley) Campbell of Wilkinson; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Patty (Wave) Christensen of Indianapolis. Services will be held at Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
