Betty J. Ruggles December 26, 1925 - May 2, 2014 Betty J. Ruggles, 88 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones Friday night, May 2, 2014. She was born December 26, 1925 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Oakley and Iva (Cooney) Jack. She was a homemaker that worked for RCA from 1964-1982 as a component operator and for DeVanney Food Service at Eli Lilly, Greenfield from 1982-1992. She was a member of the Brandywine Community Church where she volunteered for World Renewal and Needles of Faith. She is survived by her daughters, Melisa Mattingly of Indianapolis, Bonnie Brooks of Shipshewana, Becky Farquer of Florida, son, Russell H. Ruggles, Jr. of Fortville, step- daughter, Marcia Lane of Greenfield, step-son, Dale Ruggles of Greenfield, sister, Shirley Immel, of Bristol, Ind., 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell H. Ruggles, Sr., in 1990, step- children, Connie Goedert, Charlene Randolph, sisters, Thelma Ebert, Leliah Rose, Delores Jack, brothers, Donald, Harold, James and Richard Jack. A celebration of life service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 7, 2014 Brandywine Community Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Brandywine Community Church, 1551 E.
