Brandon Lee Hawkins, 47, Kokomo, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in Indianapolis. Brandon was born on December 3, 1977, in Greenfield, IN to parents Dennis Ray and Jane Ann (Records) Hawkins. He is a 1996 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.
Brandon was a homebody, liking the feeling of staying in Greenfield. It wasn't until he met and married his wife Ashley Elizabeth Bray on May 1, 2016, that he was persuaded to move to Anderson, IN and then to Kokomo, IN. Family was extremely important to Brandon. He relished all time spent with them. And when grandchildren were born, he spoiled them rotten. He was affectionately known to them as "Pop Pop." Brandon loved animals, especially dogs, and volunteered at Humane Society for Hamilton County. He also loved playing guitars, listening to music, and was a car and racing enthusiast. Brandon worked as a machine operator for Nestle in Anderson.
Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Ashley of 9 years; parents, Dennis and Jane Hawkins; children, Kelsea and her husband, Josh, Ryan, and Jayden; grandchildren, Jaylee and Cole; sister, Angie and her husband, Jimmy; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lori and Desi; brother-in-law, AJ and his wife, McKenzie; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Lauren and Mike and Lizzie and Gregg; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; grandparents; and beloved dog, CeCe.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Betty Records and Basil and Geneva Johnson.
