Brandon Lee Reed

Brandon Lee Reed, 28, Greenfield, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. Brandon was born on May 16, 1995, in Greenfield, to Mark Scott Reed and Stacie Lynne Riegel. He is a 2013 graduate of Greenfield Central High School.

Brandon was employed as a Senior Site Specialist with Thermo Fisher Scientific since March 2017. He loved cooking, hiking, being in the outdoors, and playing, watching, and reffing soccer. He loved being a computer geek, embraced the Japanese culture, and had a politically opinionated approach to most matters. Brandon was an avid motorcyclist and an avid rescuer of animals, namely cats. He loved being around family and friends.

Brandon is survived by his loving mother, Stacie (Steve) Kuntz; loving father, Mark (Angie) Reed; his partner, Halie Johns and her daughter, Maddie; his long-time friend, Adam Spille; his beloved cats, Lil Bit, Hallie, Mephisto; siblings, Cody Baughman and Alli Horton; step-siblings: Emily (Evan) Vonderschmitt, Adam Gardner, Kyle Kuntz, and Christopher Kuntz; grandmothers, Susie Reed and Dot Key; and niece and nephew, Lily and Leon Vonderschmitt.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is assisting the family during their time of loss. The family will hold a private celebration of life in honor of Brandon.
