Brenda L. Johnson

Brenda L. Johnson, age 81 of Greenfield passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 23, 1940, in Greenfield to the late Robert and Dorothy (Dailey) Apple. Brenda married the love of her life, Chuck Johnson on March 8, 1958, and together they made their home, raised their family, and ran their business, Chuck Johnson, Inc. Always active, Brenda enjoyed sewing, baking, oil painting and crafting. She belonged to Greenfield Lady Elks Club. Above all, Brenda enjoyed Purdue Football and time spent with Chuck, her family and friends. Brenda is survived by her children; Cory (Donnette) Johnson, and Barri (Steve) Varga; grandchildren; Colin Johnson, Travis (Megan) Varga, and Braydon (Kaity) Varga, and great granddaughter, Gracie Varga; brother, Larry (Sue) Apple, sister-in-law, Jerri (Steve) Muegge; brother-in-law, Joey (Pam) Johnson, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Chuck Johnson in 2001, and infant son, Chris Johnson. At Brenda's request, there will be no services at this time, however, memorial contributions in her honor may be sent to Hancock County Animal Management, 2195 W.
