Brenda Sue Sandlin December 9, 1951 - May 28, 2013 Brenda Sue Sandlin Mayhugh, age 61 years passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 peacefully in her home. Brenda lost her 4 year battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 9, 1951 in Seco, Kentucky to Irvin D. & Vesta (Bruner) Sandlin. She worked in restaurant management and was a homemaker. Brenda loved to travel, enjoyed music and was studying to become an ordained minister. She is survived by her husband, Roger D. Mayhugh, father, Irvin D. Sandlin, daughter, Kristine E. Mayhugh, sons, Roger I. Mayhugh, Shawn M. Mayhugh all of Greenfield, sister, Linda Arrowood of Shelbyville, grandsons, Ashton Mayhugh, Jonathan Mayhugh, Cody Mayhugh, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother listed above, sisters, Carolyn Sandlin, Peggy Ritchie and a nephew, Michael Asher. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Private family services and burial will be held at a later date.
