Brent O. Taylor

Brent O. Taylor, age 91 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Clearvista Lake Health Campus in Indianapolis. He was born on October 11, 1926 in Ellettsville, IN to the late Brent & Rosetta (Freeman) Taylor. Brent received his Chiropractic Certification from Bebout College of Chiropractic and ran his own practice for several years. He also was a tool designer at Western Electric until his retirement. Brent was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during WWII. He married, Betty (Newton) Taylor on December 24, 1995. Brent enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Bowlers Association. Surviving Brent is his wife, Betty Taylor of Indianapolis; son, Clifton (Karen) Taylor of Indianapolis; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren. Preceding Brent in death are his parents mentioned above; daughters, Penny Shelton, Brandy Taylor; brother, Clifton Taylor; and first wife, Vivian Taylor. Visitation for Brent will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm. Military Honors will be rendered by the U.S. Navy and Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
