Carl V. Ragon December 24, 1936 - January 22, 2012 Carl V. Ragon, Sr. age 75, a resident of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Golden Living Center Brandywine, Greenfield. He was born December 24, 1936 in Hazel Dell, Illinois to the late Garret and Laura (Schontz) Ragon. He retired in 2001 from Marsh Food Stores as a produce clerk. He was veteran of the U.S. Army, loved photography, reading and was big Civil War enthusiast. He is survived by son, Carl V. Ragon, Jr. of Indianapolis; sisters, Delores Apple of California and Helen Rusch of Texas. He was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence Ragon, Leonard Ragon, William G. Ragon; sisters, Doris Sackewitz, Edna Florence and Marie Traylor. Funeral mass will be 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Christ The King Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
