Carl E. Riddle October 28, 1937 - May 15, 2007
Carl E. Riddle, 69, of Greenfield passed away Tuesday May 15, 2007 at St. Vincents Hospital.
He was born October 28, 1937 in Arcadia to the late Clyde and Marie M. (Blue) Riddle.
He graduated from New Palestine High School, served in the U.S. Army, became the owner of Riddle Construction Company in Greenfield, retiring in 1999. He was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Greenfield, Moose Lodge of Indianapolis, Greenfield American Legion, and a volunteer firefighter for 20 years at Sugar Creek Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Dolores C. (Meier) Riddle, whom he married November 16, 1957; sons, Steven Riddle of Indianapolis, Daniel Riddle, Thomas Riddle both of Greenfield; daughters, Karen Walker of Farmington, NM, Jennifer Crockett of Marion IA; and 13 grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by brother, Larry G. Riddle.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday May 18, 2007 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield with Father Joe Pesola officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East. Friends may call 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home.

Comments We are sorely going to miss Carl, but I take comfort in knowing he is with his mom ("Grandma Marie" to our children) in heaven. We will miss his trips down Sharon " Drive on his John Deere! But mostly we will miss his generous smile and gentle nature...
