Carolyn Sandra (Duvall) Zentz

Carolyn Sandra (Duvall) Zentz, 78, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away August 31, 2023 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Carol was born January 2, 1945 to Albert and Anna Duvall of Indianapolis.

Carol was a graduate of Warren Central High school where she was an avid track star in high hurdles (wink, wink). After graduating high school, she worked at Western Electric for a short time prior to meeting her husband of 57 years, Maynard L. Zentz. Carol and Maynard were married February 12, 1966 at a church in Garfield Park in Indianapolis. Carol was a devoted mother to her 3 sons Kent Lee Zentz (Nancy Starke), Kevin Joe Zentz (Kristie), and Kristopher Lee Zentz (Risa). Carol was a loving, caring, nurturing woman who welcomed everyone into her life and home. Carol enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends and fishing with her husband, particularly in Michigan where they've gone every year since their honeymoon. She also enjoyed bowling, baking, crafts, her women's club, and spending time with all of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; 3 sons; grandchildren Katy (Ben Williams), Jordyn, Kaia, Dawson, Nick (Lawler), Kyle, Jenna (Lawler), Easton, and Eliana Zentz; and a great grandchild Alaina (Williams). She is also survived by her siblings Albert Duvall Jr. and Connie Christianson as well as many more extended family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters (Mary Rennier and Debbie Duvall) and 2 brothers (John and Bruce Duvall).
