Carolyn Louise (Griggs) Mathes

Carolyn Louise (Griggs) Mathes, 76, Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at her home. She was born on June 15, 1947, in Indianapolis, IN, to Robert C. and Hazel Bernice (Cummins) Griggs. Carolyn married the love of her life, Jack C. Mathes, on November 17, 1963. Carolyn was a homemaker in addition to helping her husband run their insulation business.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Craig A. (Kim) Mathes and Shelley A. (Phillip) Clark; grandchildren, Devin Moore and Aimarie Clark; and siblings, Anita Bingham, Robert L. (Linda) Griggs, and David C. (Kellee) Griggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack of 58 years.
