Carolyn A. Huffman

Carolyn A. Huffman, age 77, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 16, 1941, in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Lloyd & Georgia (Pfieffer) Chandler. Carolyn gradated from Beech Grove High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, Robert Huffman, on October 3,1987. Carolyn was a devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. She spent her career with Dr. Charles W. Kelley III for 30 years as a Medical Assistant until her retirement in 2011. Carolyn enjoyed doing puzzles, shopping, tending to her flower garden, going on small trips and dinners with her friends, but most of all spending time with her precious family who she loved dearly. Left to cherish Carolyns memory are her sons; Bruce (Barbra) Forth, John (Denise) Forth; daughters, Jenny (Richard) Stephenson of Indianapolis; Stephanie (Scott) Studebaker of Fortville; Dawn (Norman) Field of Florida; sisters, Donna Harper of Greenwood; and Patty (Tim) VanSickle of Beech Grove; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carolyn is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son, Donald Forth; Twin Daughters Julie and Vicky Forth; brother, Lloyd Chandler; grandson, Cpl. Scott Studebaker; and granddaughter, Holly Forth-Wells. Visitation for Carolyn will be from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor David Lee from Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will immediately follow the Funeral Service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Indiana.
