Carolyn Sue Stapp

Carolyn Sue Stapp, 72, Indianapolis, passed away on February 4, 2022. She was born on August 24, 1949, in New Palestine, Indiana, to Clarence E. and Etheleen (Shipp) Stapp. She graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School. Carolyn loved God, church, family, taking road trips, and listening to music. She was a long-time member of Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis. She worked at and retired from Lane Bryant. She is survived by her sisters: Shirley Williams, Kathy (Don) Twyford, and M. Joann (Albert White) Stapp; nieces and nephews: Suzanne (David) Wallace, Deena Stapp, Amber (Robert) Knapp, Brian (Stacey) Williams, Christopher Stapp, Michael Twyford, Phillip Stapp, and David (Cheron) Stapp; and many great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny W. Stapp; nephews: Marty J. Williams and Johnny W. Stapp, Jr.; and great-nephew, Rodney S. Mitchell III. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Hendryx Mortuary-New Palestine Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. There will be a graveside service on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2pm at New Palestine Cemetery.
