Carrie B. Early September 24, 1938 - July 22, 2007 Carrie B. Early age 68 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Sunday morning, July 22, 2007 at her residence. She was born September 24, 1938 in Halcomb, KY to the late Lewis W. and Mary E. Barker. Carrie was a graduate of Greenfield High School and retired from Western Electric of Indianapolis after 30 years of employment. She was a member of the Greenfield Order of the Eastern Star, a computer enthusiast, loved to scrapbook and trace genealogy. She is survived by her husband Glen Early of Greenfield whom she married on February 4, 1956, 2 granddaughters, Angie (Matt) Funkhouser of Ft. Wayne and Heather Loyd of Greenfield. She was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Ann Early in 1988. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 25, 2007 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
