Catherine "Cass" Ann (Richey) Hewitt

Catherine (Cass) Hewitt, 74, of Greenfield left to go see the Lord December 22, 2021. She was born May 25, 1947, the daughter of James and Katherine (Murphy) Richey. She is survived by her husband Philip (Steve) Hewitt, whom she married October 6, 1967; three daughters: Jill (David) Machala, Amanda Hewitt (Mark Crandley), and Emily Hewitt; six grandchildren: Caroline and Nicholas Machala, Clare and Nolan Crandley, and Clementine and James (Kelly) Cassell; brother, Jess Richey; and sister, Jeanette Richey. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James L. Richey; sister, Joellen Smith; and Keegan Cassell. Services and burial will be held at Park Cemetery in Greenfield on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. There will be no calling. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Stillinger Family Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of arrangements.
