Charles E. Borden October 10, 1931 - June 9, 2012 Charles E. Borden age 80 years, a resident of Fortville passed away Saturday night June 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1931 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Harry E. and Elizabeth M. (Groce) Borden. He was a graduate of Connersville High School, served in the US Army and retired in 2008 as a self-employed truck driver. He is survived by his wife Bethel A. (Mannin) Borden of Fortville, whom he married on November 29, 1964, son, Charles E. Borden II of Greenfield, daughters, Elizabeth Ann Borden of Greenfield, Ann Marie (Patrick) Zakaria of Pittsboro, NC, adopted daughter, Debbie (Bryan) Magee of Indianapolis, sister, Evelyn Colestock of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Christopher Zakaria, Ashley Borden, Emily Creed, Gregory Zakaria, Jacob Creed, Nicholas Zakaria and a niece, Tami Murphy of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 14, 2012 at Brookeville Road Community Church with Pastor Hubert Nolan officiating.
