Charles M. Colclazier 91 years, resident of Greenfield passed away Friday evening June 3, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice, Greenfield.
He was born April 17, 1925 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Jacob L. and Sinda J. (Grigsby) Colclazier.
Charles graduated from Westland High School, served in the U.S Army from 1943 until 1946, was a machinist for Naval Avionics, Indianapolis and was a self-employed farmer. He was a muzzle loader enthusiast, was a member of the Friendship Indiana Muzzle Loader Association, enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son David (Linda) Colclazier of Greenfield, daughter, Shirley Riegle of Anderson, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, wife, Wilma (Moss) Colclazier, son, Doug Colclazier, daughters, Janice Mosley, Sandra Inman, brother Ralph Colclazier, and grandson Joseph Grandison.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday June 7, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield IN 46140. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the funeral home with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard and burial to follow at Concord Cemetery, Shelby County, Indiana.
