Charles "Chuck" Evans September 28, 1942 - August 7, 2014 Charles F. "Chuck" Evans, 71 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Greenfield. Chuck was born September 28, 1942 in Monroe, WI. to the late Orville and Amy (Broders) Evans. He was a graduate of Monroe High School and served in the U.S. Air force. Chuck was an engineer with United Airlines for 36 years prior to his retirement and was currently co-owner and operator of Evans Distributing, Amsoil Dealer in Greenfield for 20 years. Chuck was always the life of the party. He loved people, making new friends and spending time with his family. He loved camping, playing cards and was a connoisseur of fine wines. Chuck was active in his community and a valued member and mentor in many organizations including B.N.I. of Greenfield, the Rotary Club of Greenfield and the Greenfield Chamber of Commerce where he was honored as "Business Man of the Year" and the "Chamber Service Award". He is survived by his wife; Linda (Piazza) Evans of Greenfield, sons; David Nowell of Indianapolis and Jason Nowell of Greenfield, daughter; Jenna (Tim) Plunkett of Greenfield, grandchildren; Emma, Shelby, Delanie, Walker and Carley Nowell and Grayson Plunkett. Preceding him in death are his parents, brother; Orville Evans, Jr., sisters; Jackie Barr, Shirley Weaver and granddaughter; Lillian Alyse Plunkett. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering "Wine Down Wednesday" from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Adaggios Banquet Facility, 5999 West Memory Lane, Greenfield. Chucks family invites you to dress casually and no black please. Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. I hope that you " love Heavan. He also loved camping that was his absalute favorite thing to do during the summer with us was camp. And go on the boat it was a family thing we did every summer.
