Charles D. "Chuck" LaVallee, 84 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Sunday October 21, 2018 at Greenfield Healthcare.
He was born January 3, 1934 in Montpelier, Indiana to the late Howard and Nellie (Zorn) LaVallee. Chuck served in US Marine Corps during the Korean War, was a graduate of Anderson High School, retired in 1991 from Weimer Print Setting as a Type-Setter after 32 years of employment, member of the American Legion and Faith Lutheran Church of Greenfield. Woodworking was a hobby that turned into a business, he owned and operated The Oak Barn woodworking store, Greenfield.
He is survived by daughter, Annette (Gary) Mosbaugh of Crawfordsville, grandson, Jeremy (Andrea) Mosbaugh of Zionsville, granddaughter, Kim (Britt) Wiseman of Remington and a great grandson, Walter Mosbaugh.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Lay) LaVallee in March 2017, brothers, Richard and Donald LaVallee.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday October 26, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 200 W. McKenzie Rd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church with burial to follow at Park Cemetery with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield.
