Charles Edward Mcclurg

Charles "Edward" McClurg, age 84 of Greenfield passed away July 16, 2021, at Greenfield Healthcare. He was born October 19, 1936, in Farmers, KY. To the late John and Viola (Hamm) McClurg. In his early years, Edward served in the Reserve National Guard. Prior to his retirement in 1999, Edward was a millwright for Ford Motor Company for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Bluegrass music. He was an accomplished guitar picker. Above all else he was a devoted family man. He is survived by his children, Debra (Bob) Vansickle, Ronda Pardue, Linda Boone, and Bryan McClurg; grandchildren, Kenny, Robbie, Joey, Darrell Jr., Jessica, and Corinda; several great grandchildren; siblings, Anna Lee Payne, Lloyd (Maxine) McClurg, Roy (Linda) McClurg, Jeannette (Tom) Weimer and Jewel Shelton. He is preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above; wife Shirley (Palmer) McClurg; grandson, Christopher Pardue, and several brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140.
