Charles "Chuck" Sturm October 27, 1938 - June 25, 2009 Charles "Chuck" Sturm, 70, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Indianapolis. He was born October 27, 1938 in Pleasant Lake, Indiana to the late Orville and Mary Jane (Chew) Sturm. Chuck retired from Eli Lilly as a draftsman after 38 years of service and was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Hawks Tail of Greenfield. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Sturm of Greenfield; children, Lyn Polston, Stephanie (Phillip) Huber, Thomas (Marla) Sturm and Bill (Marilyn Howe) Sturm, all of Greenfield; sisters, Marie Park of Indianapolis; Edith (Chuck) Swager of Howe, IN; brothers, John (Virginia) Sturm of Mooresville and Frank (Helen) Sturm of Greenfield; six grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Jordan, Savannah, Sydney and Chase. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hollis Sturm. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Rev. Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Monday, June 29, 2009 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
