Cherie Meliss Foss

Cherie Meliss Foss, 69 of Greenfield passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. She born June 17, 1946 in Chehalis, WA. To the late John and Hattie (Lester) Kizer. Cherie served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration and was the Executive Secretary for the Director of Accounts Receivable at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Indianapolis. Cherie was an avid reader, a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a trivia buff. She is survived by her son; Lawrence Larry (Jessica Gilley) Trahan of Greenfield, brothers; John Kizer, Chris Kizer both of Oklahoma, Howard Roberts of Washington, sister; Judy Fiest of Washington and grandson; Clayton Blackburn of Georgia. Friends may call Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 11am until 1 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140 with funeral service at 1pm. Burial immediately following the service at Park Cemetery with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
