Chris Powell January 29, 1956 - December 4, 2008 Chris Powell, 52, a resident of Fortville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Vincents Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born January 29, 1956 in Indianapolis. He was the stepson to the late Walter H. and son to the late Jean (Haste) Stewart. Chris was a graduate of Fortville High School, a truck driver for Indy Metal and attended Bethel Baptist Church, Greenfield. He was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He is survived by sisters, Sandra Snider of Hendersonville, TN and Nikki Graham of Waterloo, IN; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Shawn Stewart. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Randall Parker officiating. Burial will be Monday, December 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service.
