Cindy (Schwier) Bhatti

Cindy (Schwier) Bhatti 57, of Indianapolis passed away on October 31, 2022 at Methodist Hospital. She was born on July 25, 1965 to the late Edward A. Jr. and Mary Eulia (Morris) Schwier in Indianapolis. She was a 1983 graduate from New Palestine High School. She graduated from IUPUI and Ball State University, having earned two Master's degrees. She was a career librarian for Los Angeles County Library in Los Angeles, California. She married Daljeet Bhatti in May of 2016, and he survives.

A beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her job at Talbots clothing store. She loved to read books and always assisted on Election Day, so go vote! She was a health enthusiast, participated in marathons, and entered several beauty pageants where she was often voted Miss Congeniality.

She is survived by her husband Daljeet; two daughters, Desi (JT Egbert) Lopez and another daughter; two granddaughters; aunts Joan Cohron, Nancy Fraker, and Florence Pritchett; uncle William Schwier; and many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie.

Services for Cindy will be Monday, November 7, 2022 at 1PM at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Hendryx Cumberland Chapel 11636 E Washington St. Indpls, IN 46229 with burial in New Palestine Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11AM until time of service. Friends may also visit on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 3PM-5PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Cindy's memory to the American Heart Association- GO RED for women. The Stillinger Family is honored to care for Cindy's family.
