Cindy Hammons

Cindy (Paxton) Hammons, 59 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on March 3, 1958 in Fort Harrison, IN. Karen (McVay) Rumfelt and Bill Rumfelt were her loving parents. Cindy received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development; was a member of Greenfield Christian Church who enjoyed crocheting; gardening; cooking; and spending time with family, and grandson. She married the love of her life Randall Hammons on February 4, 1978. Cindy was also a member of the Dorcas Circle. Surviving Cindy is her husband; Randall Hammons; mother; Karen Rumfelt; son; Mark (Phaedra) Hammons; daughter, Heidi (Bryan) Parks; brother, Marlin Rumfelt; sister, Dee Sprague; and grandson, Austin. Preceding Cindy in death is her father mentioned above. Friends may visit from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Greenfield Christian Church, 23 N. East St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 6:00pm at the church with Pastor Frank Everett officiating.
